I've done very little knitting this week. In fact, the only actual knitting I did was last night, on the baby blanket. I also wound the last skein of yarn for the blanket (the one that I bought from another Ravelry user - she had the same dyelot, which I knew was important for this one). I had to hand-wind the yarn, though, because it was horribly tangled in the skein. I didn't even put it on a swift. It may have gone more quickly if I had. But it's done, wound, and ready for action....not that it got any. I still have a teeny ball left of that skein so, you know, soon :)

I'm still coming down off the auction this week. Items that were left have mostly been delivered, tablecloths are being washed/folded by various people, we've sorted and stored most of our decorations, and my living room no longer looks like an auction bomb went off. I'm still doing a bunch of the backend work (making sure balances are paid and refunds are made properly, double-checking bid sheets for proper amounts on table items, the budget....). Yeah. It's been a lot less stressful this week. In fact, yesterday was the first day in months that my inboxes haven't been overflowing. So, that's exciting.

Little Man has officially started spring break. I have no idea what I'm going to do with both monkeys for two weeks but I'm sure we'll figure it out. I know we will be heading to the library tomorrow because our books are due. He's also requested a trip to the aquarium (The Aquarium by the Bay at Fisherman's Warf in San Francisco). That's about all I know at this point.

Tuesday was kind of a rough day in our house. Stormageddon was being a booger about everything and he made me tweak my back pretty good as I was dragging him from speech therapy over my shoulder. He knew he was being naughty and tried to make amends:

At this point, the auction decorations were still sitting in my front room. He went into the box with the fake roses and grabbed a bundle. He had it hidden behind his back and was smiling when he came in. Of course, he's small so I could see exactly what he had. He was so proud of himself. Then he gave me kisses and told me he was sorry.

Little Man caught a frog under a plastic box on Thursday night. It was this little green frog. He hopped off into the yard not long after I took the photos. I'm just glad he didn't ask if we could keep it as a pet. ::sigh::

The other "major" thing that happened this week, which happened last night:

We started getting our plants ready for our garden. We'll see which ones sprout and which ones don't this year. I think we have watermelons, carrots, two different lettuces, squash, cucumbers, and okra. So, there's that.

Anyway, it's Easter around here and things are happening so I'm going to wander off. I hope you had a lovely week and weekend :) Happy April!
